Terms
Last updated: 26 October 2026
The short version: we build your site first, you only pay once you’re happy, then it’s £39 a month with no long contract. The details are below, in plain English.
Who we are
Booked Up is a UK business run by a sole trader. Contact us on 07387 575877, on WhatsApp, or at team@bookedupwebsites.co.uk. “You” means the business we build the website for.
What you get
- A mobile-first website for your business, with call and WhatsApp buttons on every page.
- Your Google reviews shown on the site using Google’s own review display, with links to your other review profiles.
- Your Google Business Profile set up or tidied, if you give us access to it.
- A web address (domain) registered in your name, and a matching email address forwarded to an inbox you choose.
- 100 printed business cards when your site goes live, posted to you, and another 100 each year your plan continues. We design them from your site details; you approve the design before they’re printed.
- Hosting, security updates and backups.
- Reasonable updates whenever you ask: new photos, reviews, prices, services and wording. A complete redesign, or a large new section, is something we’d quote for separately first.
When you pay
- We build your site first and send you a private preview. You don’t pay anything at that stage.
- If you’re happy with it, you pay the £220 setup fee and your site goes live. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.
- From the day your site goes live, it’s £39 a month, taken automatically by card through our payment provider, Stripe.
- You’ll get a receipt by email for every payment. Prices include everything listed above. We’re not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
- If a monthly payment fails, we’ll let you know and try again. If it’s still unpaid after 14 days, we may take the site offline until it’s sorted.
Cancelling
There’s no minimum term. Give us one month’s notice by text, WhatsApp or email and we’ll stop the payments after that month. The setup fee isn’t refundable once your site has gone live, because by then the work is done and you’ve approved it.
If you leave, your domain stays yours. We’ll help you move it to whoever you like, and we’ll send you the text and photos from your site. The design and code of the site itself are ours, so it comes down when your plan ends.
Your part
- Send us accurate information about your business, and only photos, logos and text you have the right to use.
- Tell us if anything on your site becomes wrong, such as prices, services or contact details.
- Keep any qualifications or accreditations you ask us to mention up to date.
What we can’t promise
Nobody controls where Google places a business, so we don’t promise rankings or a set number of calls. We get the basics right so you’re in good shape to be found and chosen.
We work hard to keep your site online, but outages at hosting companies or Google can happen. If something goes wrong, we’ll fix it as quickly as we reasonably can. Our total liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law.
Changes and the law
If we change these terms or our prices, we’ll give you at least one month’s notice first, so you can leave if you don’t agree. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
